Location: Optiven Homes( construction) Centre – Kitengela
Gross Salary Range: Ksh 80,000 – Ksh 120,000
Optiven Construction is the construction arm of Optiven Group, it has been in business for over 7 years, mainly building residential homes for customers who have bought plots with Optiven Limited and manufacturing concrete products like cabro, fencing poles and building blocks among others.
We work closely with our clients to accurately interpret their dreams/visions in drawings and bring them to the desired reality through construction solutions to meet their needs. We communicate with our clients throughout the construction process to keep them informed of progress and to ensure that our project is on schedule and within budget.
With past experience, Optiven Construction under Optiven Homes is desirous of expanding its operations so as to meet the growing housing needs of our customers and also support Government’s agenda for housing. We are now seeking for experienced architects to help in planning, designing and overseeing construction of buildings.
S/he will be providing services in connection with the design of buildings and the space within the site surrounding the buildings that have human occupancy or use as their principal purpose.
Duties and responsibilities
- To plan and design buildings that are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing.
- To listen and creatively visualize the client’s need and bring such vision to life through creative and attractive project designs.
- Offer advisory services to clients in the design of functional projects
- Ability to track and inspect project progress, compliance with the design, and compile a report for the client and management.
- Ability to work in a team
- Has the Capacity and ability to use the current technologies in designing and drawing.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree recognized by the Architects Registration Board (ARB)
- One or two years of practical work experience.
- Thorough and pays attention to detail.
- Customer service skills.
- The ability to come up with new ways of doing things.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company mission.
- Strong reporting skills.
- Professionalism, high level of maturity, good character with positive values
