Gross Salary Range : Ksh 120,000 to Ksh 150,000


Optiven Homes is a subsidiary company of Optiven Group whose aim is to provide our customers 100% professional touch. Considering customers’ needs, wants and plans we create a truly unique home that is designed to suit their lifestyle, land and budget.

We are now seeking for an experienced Business Development Manager to lead and spearhead business growth of the unit. The eligible person will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations and marketing as well as setting strategic goals for the future.

S/he will be a competent leader able to provide guidance that enhances performance in a manner which incorporates the company’s vision and culture. The goal will be to ensure the profitability of our company’s activities to drive sustainable development and long-term success.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Develop and Grow the Homes business of settling Kenyans by building their dream homes.
  • Establish, develop and grow other units of Property management and sale of houses on Agency basis.
  • Coordinate the activities of the business to ensure there is good flow.
  • Drive the businesses to profitability.
  • Create a reporting platform on customer- house progress.
  • Keep record of all assets under this company and ensure they are safe.
  • In liaison with Optiven Group HR department recruit right talents.
  • Coordinating and overseeing projects under construction from concept to completion.
  • Provide general direction to contractors and engineers to ensure quality standards are being met at all stages of the project.
  • Ensure that legal requirements, Nema requirements, building and safety codes, and other requirements are adhered to.


  • Been a manager for at least 5 years
  • Degree in a business course
  • MBA will be an added advantage
  • Financial Literacy…CPA Section 4 or equivalent.
  • Willing and able to multi-task.
  • Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company mission.
  • Ability to engage and motivate others.
  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Excellent in developing customer relationships and customer service.
  • Professionalism, high level of maturity, good character with positive values
